    Good evening all.
Chive, I'm glad that you had a nice time with your mum and sis.

LB, it's still huge venture. They deserve applause.

It was lovely sunny day after rainy morning and I went to cottage. I managed to harvest cucumbers and suddenly storm came. Rain, hail and wind all spiced with lightning. It passed very quickly but all was wet and muddy and impossible to work in the field. So, I came home, made cup of tea and now watching Poirot again.

    How was your day?

Evening Ante, sounds like the weather is causing you trouble, going from one extreme to the other. Makes collecting your harvest very difficult in those conditions.

Just seen the news of the explosion in Beirut it’s utterly terrible. So many, 1000’s of people injured and the number of deaths is rising such a dreadful event.

I’m signing off early, see you tomorrow.

I came down this morning to find a dead mouse in Lily's water bowl. How it got in there I have no idea unless..........!

Good morning LB and all to follow.

LB, well you see now, Lily isn't so bad hunter like you thought.

I used a blanket last night. It's much cooler and windy. I stayed in bed longer than usually. Here is state holiday so everybody are at home. Only shops with food work.
It will be one more day in book company.

Just saw the news from Beirut. This year we have only catastrophes, one after another.

Good morning all. Dry here and warm and a day at work beckons! Fiancé has gone back to work laden down with courgettes. Hope his customers enjoy them. Out to a friends tonight for a meal then youngest daughter here tomorrow if she is feeling well enough, her morning sickness lasts all day some days and looking after big granddaughter on Friday so keeping myself busy. Stops me missing him so much.
Dreadful news today so much gloom and disaster in the world. Thank goodness for our gardens and the people we love.
