Morning everyone,Ā Ā Looks quite dull outside today. Yesterday was beautiful and at times too hot, I suppose two days of sunshine is asking too muchš I kept waking up during the night, lay there for awhile and drifted off only to wake again. Woke up late because of it, so am having tea and toast now. Thank you for the answers LB. The Hellermans one was bugging me, knew I should know that one. š¤£Ā Ante, raspberry cake sounds delicious, we have raspberries in the garden. Yum Yum. Debs I think you're brave wanting to go away this year, I'm not even sure I'd want to go anywhere next year either. I know I can't even go to any shops yet, but, I really don't want to go. Not even to our village shops.Ā Hope you have a lovely day with your family. LB enjoy your visit to see your family too.Ā Need another cuppa then I better get dressed and do a few Col TT bits.Ā Have a good day everyoneĀ
Good morning everyone . Well done on the quiz . I knew several but by the time I got round to looking at the quiz you had just about finished it . Debs enjoy your lunch with your family .LB have a lovely time with your rellies . Lily I donāt want to go into shops yet either . Sorry you had a broken night .Ante your cake sounds absolutely delicious. Have a lovely day everyone .
Morning all. Weāve had a little rain overnight - hooray! Did a lot of cutting back yesterday (where does it all come from???) and the rain helps things to get going again.Ā
Ante - Iāll dig the recipe out for you later today.
Rubee, Lily etc - youāre not missing much not going to the shops. It just isnāt the same right now. Donāt buy many clothes on-line normally as Iām short and dumpy and things that look good on a well lit 5ā 10ā size 10 model in heels donāt look the same on me for some reasonš¤ . But if you canāt try things on in the shop you might as well buy on-line and try in your bedroom. High street shops will struggle if we all get too used to that.
Best get on with some jobs - enjoy your day all.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Done a bit of gardening . Some of my succulents have had a bad time with so much rain . I have dug some up and potted them .I have mixed sand and grit into the compost . I hope they survive they are quite big and I love them . Time will tell.
Chive I went back to bed for an hour once Iād put Lilyās tv on. Ā Hope you have a relaxing day. Ā LB enjoy your visit to rellies. Ā Itās quite sunny here at the moment. Ā Debs youāll be looking forward to your family coming around. Ā Hazel your plants sound fabulous. Ā Lily I wonāt be going away either. Ā Topbird I think with us shopping online, unless your not keen youāre more likely to keep it to save posting back and queueing at the post office. Ā We hopefully make some good choices.
Absolutely pouring down here, flippin weather. Haven't bought any clothes this year. Mind you I did buy quite a few last year š I've never fancied buying clothes online unless it's the well known shops where I can take them back. I Like to see the material etc. And couldn't be bothered with going to the post office and all the faffing with sending things back. Oh dear Hazel, I bet my OH will be watching footie this afternoon too,Ā Ā
Aternoon all,Ā Thanks for the quiz LB.Ā Would never have got Naked but I was sure I knew the Twynings one, it was driving me mad.Ā Thanks for putting me out of my misery.
Have about 3/4 weeks now without seeing the grandchildren, it's going to be quiet.Ā Spent this morning in the garden weeding, cutting back and lawn mowing.Ā I want to try out the camera on my new(ish) phone to see if there is any improvement so I'll be going out again later to take a few photos.Ā
