i'd still like to know why that chap thought he needed his laptop for a day of nudity in the park.

Anything that covers his lap can't be a bad thing. :#
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Thank you @BenCotto few issues following your advice though, no laptop (not a mobile computing person) and despite the heat common sense still intact, local rec full of dog walkers (fortunately no boars sited as yet) so not too safe and very exposed.  Not massively keen on complete defoliation though it does weep uncontrollably with any movement

I doubt it was big enough to cover the beer belly too @wild edges.  Most unedifying even with clothes on.

I'm surprised it went for the bag with the lap top, with young to feed you would have that it would have gone for something a bit meatier.   :o

In that heat, an empty plastic bag would stick where it was needed.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

It wasn't empty!  Had his laptop in it.  Why not a proper bag for his PC?  More secure, better strap for comfort and padding for safety.

That is a very sensible observation @Obelixx but looking at the situation and his actions I'm not sure sense had any place in the incident  :D

Too much like common sense! I mean someone who would go round stark naked cannot be … well endowed....  intelligence wise.

Reminds me though of how rural farmers get their rams to follow them. They carry an empty plastic nag and rustle it. Like when i pop the ring pull on a tin of cat food. They all come running. Maybe whoever owns the boar uses such a bag to feed them.

Nudity is a German thing.  Lots of them do "naturism" and they are not alone.   There are a few naturist beaches here and the first ever naked flea market was held at a place just up the coast here on the first Sunday in July.  They did have masks!
