    Thanks. Both Hadspen and Blue Angel sold out, but I will take the plunge and choose another blue one, rather than dithering about it!

    Try Bowden Hostas they are based in Sticklepath Devon but do do mail order, they usually have got a extensive range and I’ve always found them very good.

    Thought I'd revive this topic. Sum and substance (which I like but I know some people don't!), halcyon, strike. All flowering, and only minor slug damage after the rain...

    Has been a great season for hostas...this medium sized one, whose name I don't have, as it was part of a mixed bag of bare roots is about to flower.

    Normally I don't care that much for hosta flowers but I think this one has a lot of charm.
