I was thinking of just popping up the road to a big lay-by on the Moors for a walk, thank goodness we didn’t go, they showed it on our local news, cars jammed in, couldn’t get a fag paper between them, so glad I didn’t go.Ā

Frost again. I hope things start warming up again soon. Some rain would be nice too...

Necessity and invention and all that. I've found out that bread trays are the perfect size for covering water butts to stop toddlers falling in (or more likely throwing anything they can find in there). I've had to fish out all kinds of stuff recently including plants. The bonus is that you can stand plants on top and give them a good watering while recycling any excess water that escapes. Great for plants that don't like to sit in plant trays. They're also readily available dumped all over the place and handy to have around if you need to move a bunch of stuff.

Yep, that’s the way of it.
Unfortunately for us, the plebs, Boris has done what he needed to do, and that’s save face with a very underfunded NHS, everyone says good on him for slowing down the spread so they could put more money in, make temporary hospitals, get PPE sorted, now it’s down to us to do whatever we like, Ā they have beds, they have staff, let’s get this over with. They have already said that they are now well equipped and there will be a bed for you.Ā
Personally, I’m still not going out.Ā

I'd rather not take up the offer of a bed either. .Maybe they should build an eejit hospital, but I don't think it would be temporary.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

Sadly it was predicted as soon as lockdown was announced. :|
