The 'person' who thought it would be sensible to fly half way round the world to his other home in Skye, clearly thought he was special in some way too  >:)

And some folk on here maintain that they’re worth the obscene amounts of money they receive 🤯

Isn't it amazing how predictive text can change the mundane into the profound? I'm sure you've spotted the current example. Shame it's a new member. We could've had some fun😉

Funny how many of these tax exile Rich Listers are getting hand outs from tax payers to furlough their staff.
Denmark refused to give any money to companies which are owned by tax exiles.

For the same reason that one if the first people to get a handout from the lottery  was the person who sold the Churchill papers. He  wasn't short a bob or two.
Generally, whenever there's a hand out or the council provides something to benefit the residents, it's the well off and literate who hoover it up before the people it was intended to benefit get a look in
I work in adult education, and you only need to look in the car park when the art and pottery classes were on to see exactly who is benefiting.

OH has just pointed out that we were meant to be in Khabarovsk today on our trans Siberian railway trip. The weather looks nice there too.  :(

I wish we could have some rain just to clear the air of some of this pollen and dust. Wind blown seeds are getting into everything too. The sparrows have been doing their best to eat every dandelion seed they can find though. The buggers might have killed my stachys but if they've left a single aphid or weed seed anywhere in the garden I'll be amazed.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Yes, we need some rain, get very angry at the greed of the million/billionairs expecting tax payers money for forloughed staff, Victoria Beckham, Lewes Hamilton, and these b****y footballers, whinging crying the other day, saying its soooh, unfair they cant get together/train.  Perhaps sex counts as their daily excerises!!!  I have had a couiple of Dyson vacuum cleaners I loved them, agree about the price though, now have a Shark, and absolutely love it, (2 long haired dogs, nuf said)   My awful hair looks even MORE awful in the wind

That wasnt my whinge for the day.  Ordered some bedding for my Grandsons Birthday coming up from Argos, their site couldnt seem to make up its mind whether it was open to click and collect or not.  I desided not to risk it, because my eldest daughter bought me a Mothers Day present, to be collected in the Argos in the Sainsbury where she works, then they closed down. Picked my slot for today 2-6, said they would re-mail or text me, I said it could safely be left in porch.  Stayed in, bloke (or woman) didnt e-mail,text or ring the bell, or put it in the porch, found it by pure chance on the front garden step!!Where we used to live the woman who delivered for a lot of catalogues and Tesco, put my throws from Tesco in the wheelie bin on collected day, sae was really angry because Tesco gave her a rocket, and had a right go at me.
