I think the virus has got into my wardrobe.Ā  Something is shrinking the waistbands on all my clothes.

Very annoyed with DHL courier services, Ā said they delivered a parcel, said I signed Ā for it on the 28th, Ā not to me they didn’t, sent emails, only the standard reply, can’t find a phone number, very frustrating.Ā

As far as I know, none of the delivery companies are asking customers to sign for parcels. All the ones we've had are putting parcels on the floor, ringing the doorbell and retreating. Some of them ask for your name. Hope you get some satisfaction - eventually. It may be worth complaining to the vendor, it's their responsibility.

Did you pay for it with a credit card?Ā  If so, the credit card company's insurance should cover it.Ā  I am old-fashioned enough to hate debt, but I have taken out a credit card just for that reason.

I’ve opened a report with eBay, shame really as I’ve bought from the same company for years, never let down, I think the courier companies are taking on temporary staff but where he’s put my parcel is anyone’s guess. Ā  It’s not the sellers fault, it’s the DHL courier.Ā

I planted two large Ravenswing a few days ago and now there is nothing but bare earth and tumbleweed. They were so beautiful. I was so looking forward to seeing them bloom.

I never went around eating hedges and random leaves when I was a child. In fact peas and carrots were about the limit.
Poison berries -Ā  I can understand the concern, but hedges??

More an observation than a curmudge (a neologism exclusive to the CC lexicon)Ā  - up the road there is a keen gardener. Unfortunately she is colourblind . She unerringly juxtaposes colours that don't go.Ā At the moment it's calendula and forget- me -nots. When the fmn have gone over. She will replace them with barbie pink petunias and those little fuzzy blue things. That's what she did last year anyway. The calendulas will flower on.
. Moving on, there is a house with a hedge entirely of sycamore pruned to about 4 ft - a risky option, but it looks quite good.

The colour combinations obviously work for her and she probably thinks the combinations used by other people clash too.
