Fiancé is a chef who can multi task brilliantly at work and when cooking at home but not at any other time. Makes me wonder......

I liked the comment that was made about POTUS Gerald Ford:  "He can't fart and chew gum at the same time."

I think that may be due to the different availability of sous chefs in different environments 😉

All that waiting, hardening off, piddling about in the greenhouse and now it is warm enough to plant stuff out I have had to give up and come indoors to cool off!

Also really getting fed up with the sight of my house and garden which probably doesn't help.

    OK, feel better now.

I watered the borders last night with the intention of completing the weeding this afternoon.  No chance in this heat.

I feel your pain. Ive been pointlessly pottering about. It would be nice to play in someone else's garden for a while

My nest box camera has been rubbish recently which I think is caused by wifi interference. Too many houses around here broadcasting on all channels which is scrambling the signal. If we turn on the laptop or baby monitors it gets even worse. I sent the company an email at the start of April to see if they could recommend any fixes but since it's in the bird box and the birds are nesting there's not much I can do, I can't even return it. The company never got back to me though which I put down to current working conditions. Anyway I put a review on their website stating the problems I've had as I thought it would be helpful for other people in the same situation and out of the blue a brand new camera turned up in the post yesterday. So now I have two cameras that don't work :)  I wish they'd sent a note or something as I could have asked them to send a non-wifi camera instead. I'm not even sure if I'm supposed to send this one back if it doesn't work. :/
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
