A very good morning to one and all. My lights are on this morning - its a bit dark just now. I am hoping to get into the garden for more 'exercise' later. Still jealous of Yviestevie's fish and chips!

Good morning LB and all to follow.
LB, thanks for another quiz. I didn't have time to answer on it yesterday, but I admit that I knew only four.

Yesterday I was at nearby town for garden supplies then went to cottage. I was so tired and fell asleep before Poirot started. Then I woke up round midnight and didn't sleep till 3 am. It was poor night for me. Today I'll rest, watch few gardening tv shows and The Great British bake off ( repetition of season 9, but still love to see it ).

Have a nice Sunday you all!

Good morning Ante. I think that many of us are having broken nights. Its definitely a day for putting your feet up - after all, you have been doing some very hard work recently. Beautiful irises, and as you say, subtly different. Both are gorgeous.

Good morning Rubee, Ante and LB and all to follow. Cool grey morning here but planning to dig over a neglected bit of border so perfect weather for it, will be getting rid of lots of geranium Rozanne and Spanish bluebells that grow like weeds and planting a couple of shrubs and some ground cover in what was the only bit of the garden I have not tackled yet. Just need to go carefully as there are several gorgeous deep red peonies that are just about to flower.
Update on the poorly rhododendron I have given it tea every morning and one of the flower buds is just starting to open, not a great achievement I know but a small source of satisfaction. Thanks for the advice LB.
    Enjoy your gardens today!

    Morning everyone
Very grey and cold here. Have been out to do some weeding in the corner at the back of the garage. I cleared it completely last year of all plants and a shrub. We were going to have somebody take the window out and put in a rustic door, build a pergola off the garage and patio that area. Of course now that all must wait.....probably till next year. I now can't make up my mind either to just wait or perhaps do something with it in the mean time. Definitely still want the window changed to a doorway...... but do we change our minds about the pergola🤔🤔  We were going to get a large long table to put under there.....but can't do that either now......not choosing something without seeing it first. Maybe just wait awhile see how things go. Sorry I'm rambling😕🙄😂😂
Beautiful iris Ante, love the colours.
Think I'll have a cup of tea,  don't know why, but I always feel a bit down every Sunday.

Hello folks, woke up with lots of good intentions this morning but after mowing the lawns they seem to have fizzled out.  It's gone very dark here even though no rain is forecast.  Hope you feel better soon SGL.  Lovely irises.
