Morning Ruby and SGL. It is sunny here at the moment but like where you are SGL it keeps clouding over and then the strong winds blow the clouds over and there is another flash of sunshine but definitely chilly. I think it will be a good drying day for the cloth things. I haven't watched any of the new Chase. I'll have to look at catch up.

It's on every night at 9 LBĀ  New contestants each night.Ā
Still very chilly and windy, but the sun is really bright at the moment. Definitely a mixture weather wise today. We've been spoilt the last few week,  still only April......well until tomorrow 🤣🤣

    Morning (just!)

Didn't do too badly on the quiz last night - thanks for taking the time to do it LBšŸ™‚

I've been busy making Indonesian pork this morning. The kitchen is always a real mess afterwards which is why I make a big 8 portion pot and freeze individual portions. Ā Results are worth it but I need to go and clear up now.

Haven't watched The Chase Lily (thought maybe it was a drama at first🤭) - maybe I'll give it a go. Did anyone else watch the series Belgravia? I really enjoyed it - but I was a big fan of Downton. Same writer, similar characters but different story lines and set 100 years earlier. Some excellent actors. All very lightweight Sunday evening drama - but worth a look at on catch up (ITV hub) if there's nothing else on.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

Thank you SGL and T'Bird for the info about the programmes. Anything with a quiz really appeals to me SGL. You may have guessed that already. I do not know where this morning has gone. I've been pottering but I've just spotted a big black cloud outside so I think any afternoon garden activities may have to be abandoned. I've come in because my stomach thinks my throat's been cut (Ante = I feel hungry).

Well the big black cloud decided to empty all its rain and I think I can hear my garden sighing in relief. As I suspected, rain has stopped play so I'll leave the garden to it. I have been reduced to tears several times today watching and re-watching the fabulous tributes to Capt. (Col.) Tom and the sounds of the Hurricane and Spitfire engines are totally awesome.

LB, Topbird.......The Chase is also on ITV at 5 o'clock every week day....this one has been on for a few years now. There is a team of 4 against one chaser....each hoping to get through as a team to win ££££
The new Chase on at 9 o'clock is one person against up to 5 chasers,  again could win £££££

Lily I haven’t watched the late Chase just the teatime one. Ā Topbird I’ve watched Belgravia but didn’t get as absorbed as with Downton. Ā A dull day. Ā I couldn’t sleep at all last night and had a lay down in the morning to catch up. Ā I really need to sort my body clock. Ā Have a good day whatever you do.

Rosie, sorry you're not sleeping well. Its really horrible isn't it laying there waiting to go to sleep when you're so very tired. I'm sure this lockdown has a lot to do with it.Ā
You should watch the evening one Rosie, its different from the 5 o'clock one.

That sounds like an interesting slant on the game SGL. It is so dark here I have had to put my lights on!
