  Well despite the fact it was pouring down there was a good turn out tonight and lots more fireworks than last week. I'm still curious to know where the people are getting them from.

  By golly it’s been cold again today - we’ve had to light the log burner the last couple of nights. The garden is looking much refreshed after a bit of rain but I wish the slugs or pigeons would leave the newly planted peas alone. Now I remember why I always found vegetable growing so frustrating!
