SGL, I am actually with Green Flag and I do have 'Home Start' but I wanted to try and fix it myself. I am not worried at all about the car as it will get sorted eventually but there is no point in getting some one called out to it when it will only stand for however longer we are in 'captivity' and more than likely go flat again. Any luck with roses?
Ruby, your garden is just gorgeous and your shelf helps to give height to your garden.

Thank you LB .  I love my little garden .The pebbledash on the adjoining houses is a very depressing. Our house was the same colour. Now we have a cheerful yellow shade on the walls . So much more uplifting .

Oh Hazel, I'm so very sorry to hear your sad news. My very best wishes to you and your OH.

No LB have tried both sites you recommended  and  Yvies. I wanted a pink one and they are all sold out.
DA did have a couple I quite like.  They are open for phone calls, so will ring tomorrow and ask about delivery.

    Good evening to all.

Hazel, so sorry to hear the sad news. My condolences to you and your OH.

Rubee, your little and cosy garden is full of charm.

LB, I saw the quiz and must be honest, I knew answer only to three questions.

Yesterday was very tiresome day with few unpleasant surprises. I was planning yesterday to go to my cottage early but then telephone rang.  It was my mother and she asked me, can I come with the car and drive her back home. When she was walking to the market she fell on the street. Lucky she didn't broke anything but she has a lot of bruise on the legs and arms. She is fine now.
It was raining this morning. Not much, but at least the soil is wet.

Oh Ante, I'm really sorry to hear about your poor Mum. It must have really shaken her up but its a relief to hear that she hasn't broken any bones. Wednesday's quiz will be easier I promise. The rain will help the newly planted potatoes. We are supposed to be getting some rain this week too.
