    Tatties looking good @JoeX

Quick update on the plot, we still have tomatoes and some more rows of beans and peas to go it, but mostly planted up now.

Giving more thought to winter veg this year than ever before, so will be starting off some spinach, cauliflower and purple sprouting broccoli this month. Already have parsnips, leeks and brussels going, so with some late sown turnips we should have some winter veg.

Only real disappointment this year was a couple of rows of Webb's Wonderful lettuce. Very poor germination both direct and in the propagator. Strange as I've had good results in the past and it was newly purchased packet of seeds.

The Salad Bowl lettuce has more than made up for it though, we are getting buckets full of salad every day, more than we can possibly eat and they keep coming back with more! So a new favourite that I will now grow every year. Have some Winter Density lettuce to try out for winter this year too.

With the veg plot almost complete, running out of excuses not to get on with the patio, the area under the sheets is partially dug out already, but it all seems a bit daunting at the moment!

I have been picking spinach beet .pak choi chard for over a month, now I have just found that my wife who has a under active thyroid all those vegetable should be avoided,or well they haven't harmed yet she been eating them as well as the other greens for years.

Your potatoes cover the outside growing area I have @GemmaJF 😂 so you look to have a great growing plot.

I love my plot! I keep eyeing up the front lawn as well though as I could still could do with more space. The compost heap in the picture is cooking up a home mix so I can trial a no-dig bed in the autumn out the front (can't just dig it up as the front lawn has water and gas pipes under it). I think I have room for chickens out the front too  :)

Took some photos after the rain stopped today. This is my total growing area ( small but beautifully formed) and my greenhouse. It is true that no matter how much you have you still want more!

    First tom truss

Only casualty mini cucumber it will have to come out

Early potatoes and half the raspberries photo bombing

    Late potatoes

    Carrots and spring onions

    And lastly french beans

Sorry it's so long a post, can't do the multi pic in one thingy.😁

Thanks @JoeX I think if @purplerallim and I got together we would have it all sussed, I have a veg plot but no greenhouse! Just a propagator that always has things queuing up to get their time in it.  :D

Yes and I have the small veg plot , so can't put too many things in so have to curtail what I would like to grow. Mind you it's better than I had, after hubby built the beds. Do love your space though @GemmaJF 😁
