...oh isn't that despicable, I'm as upset about your Kew Gardens cuttings as I know you were proud of them...  everything is up for grabs these days it seems..

..so very sorry... totally disheartening.. but don't give up...

So sorry @Mr. Vine Eye that is horrible 😔 Can’t understand how these people live with themselves. I still have several of my roses that need cutting back, would you like any of the prunings to start cuttings from? These would be Boscobel, The Ancient Mariner, Corvedale, Jude the Obscure, The Mayflower, Desdemona, and Fetzer Syrah Rose’. Also Royal Jubilee but I know you have that one. Happy to send you any.

@newbie77 & @Omori Thank you both so much thats super helpful!  Im so torn, the spot I have picked out is on the edge of my shed-shade but if I keep it on the sunny side so hopefully Lady Emma would be happy there.  I think I'll go for it then. I can always get Shalott as well later right? ;)
I was planning to put her with "Copper Lights" from styles (pic from their site below) and looks like they will go nicely

@Mr. Vine Eye Good grief that's appalling!  The cheek and disrespect.  I hope they get thrown off the allotment and charged.

@Mr. Vine Eye  - what incredible behaviour. How did they think they would get away with it? Have you reported it to the police? I would.
  • @Mr. Vine Eye ..how awful. There I was thinking that allotments and plot-holders would basically be like a real life version of the helpful community-minded folk on this forum. Hopefully they get appropriately punished.

@Mr Vine Eye, that is truly awful behaviour and so brazen, it's unbelievable. Hope you get it all back again soon and that the miscreants get evicted.

  • Urgh, I had thieves on both my allotment plots (I gave up), also fly tippers and it was other allotment holders too.  Miserable beggars.  Very disheartening @Mr. Vine Eye , I'd be furious if it was me.
