That is a really good NPK @edhelka. The Pro version is only available as 25kg sacks over here and it doesn’t store for longer than 12months in this climate, my agriculture supplier says, so a bit much for my needs sadly. The 750g garden pack is 16-5-17 interestingly (not the 14-14-14 as advertised on some sites) which seems a bit P light.

@Tack, looks like you are enjoying some good weather, possibly hotter than me just now, looking at the open style of your HK. Mine always open up and flash their stamens more in hot weather, at any rate. Does Easy Does It keep it’s colour well?

@Nollie It is hot, been high 20s for last 3 days, warm before that, and humid. Soil is bone dry again. Yes, HK a bit bicolour and fully open on first day.
EDI blooms look bright for a couple of days until a new bud opens and shames them. They go a bit pinky in old age (see pic background). Alexander holds colour much better.
@Nollie I guess you have to weigh it up between great fragrance or longer blooms. The fact that it is said to flower very well will keep it on my list I think. My best bloomer so far has no scent at all but it just looks so good when it's covered in blooms which last ages and is very healthy. Also a passerby today commented on how lovely my roses smelled which is totally down to Desdemona being at the front of the house and covered in blooms.
Proper Job is surprising me with how much I like it and it does very well to hold the big heavy bloom upright as well as it does. May not be the case with longer stems but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
@Tack lovely photos. I was looking at Sandringham at the rose nursery last week. How are you finding it?
I had my first bloom of it's second flush start to open today on Kiss Me Kate. I was a little underwhelmed with the last lot but then we were having the worst weather. Now we're have a good dry and sunny spell I'm hoping I will like it better.
And Rugosa Hansa is doing well in it's shadier spot.
@poppyfield64 I am still reserving judgement on Sandringham. It arrived as a sad plant in early June but as you see is looking very healthy in my 4th pic above . It had a very few blooms in a first flush in July and is only now flowering again. Good scent, upright stems, I will grow it as a short climber I think.
In fact I know that generally I am in the honeymoon period with my first year roses, the grower and their sprays are due any credit, most arrived in great condition. I have enjoyed this season hugely but I await next year with trepidation. I may then feel more confident with recommendations beyond what a flower looks and smells like.
@newbie77 Thank you, EDI is very jolly and makes me smile too.
@newbie77 it's called R Favori and is one my husband picked up from B&Q. It was quick to repeat and the blooms last a really good amount of time. It started this flush in July and still has a few blooms left. Alas no fragrance at all.
@Tack I know what you mean. We've been very spoilt with the healthy roses we've received but will they stand the test of time. I really hope so. I'm keeping most in pots until I know for sure which will earn a place in the garden.
@Marlorena lovely spray and Mrs Paul definitely needs that front spot. She looks sumptuous with all those petals.
@Nollie Do you have Spanish version of Ebay or some equivalent? Maybe Amazon? We have many sellers here selling smaller packs (any weight, probably taken from the big bag).
