Nice work @jonathanmichell23, I like those daffs too, very smart...they look quite tall, or is it perspective?
Hope your partner is ok.
Thank you! The daffs are ‘Martinette’ - about 45-50cm tall with dainty little multi-heads. I’m quite surprised how tall and sturdy they are actually. Would definitely recommend!
Back on the yellow/orange theme, two healthy, vigorous and prolific bloomers for me are Julia Child (or Absolutely Fabulous in the UK) and Warm Welcome. Yellow JC has a very faint fragrance and WW none.
All my new bare root roses, in temporary pots, are ready to go out. I really need to get going and finish building up the stone wall around the back of the new rose bed to allow me to level up the soil and start planting there. We accidentally sold our big car (long story!) so trips to the builders yard for sacks of mortar were off for ages. We have just bought a new car, but now everything is closed due to corona virus lockdown - aaah!!
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.

Looking good, @amancalledgeorge! I have a few buds out in the garden, including this slightly peculiar Munstead Wood one, with sepals looking like leaves. Excuse the blurry shot in the rain:
No buds on my RdeM yet, but of the dozen new bare roots I have potted up, Diamond Eyes is doing the best, it has eleven small buds:

My three new bare-root planted midsummer night's dream roses, doing very well so far it seems.
