That mystery rose might be the lady gardener? Hard to tell but mine had flowers like that last year!!

Thank you @Victoria Sponge. No buds have opened fully yet. It takes its time
    In London. Keen but lazy.

Beautiful roses @Nollie my Munstead Wood is only half open and yet it’s already wafting on and off on my balcony. Can’t wait for full bloom.. there are lots of buds developing too.

I do hope my red patio rose is going to show me some colours this year.. I bought it in July last year and it was in flower.. perhaps that was the first flush? We shall see.

Lovely roses people - keep them coming.
Yesterday I found in the shed a container of something called Yellow Sulphur, which I suspect came out of my parents old shed more than ten years ago!  Is this the same stuff as Rose Sulphur and could I try a bit shaken on the soil around one of my roses which gets bad blackspot do you think?

@Lizzie27 Sounds like it’s similar to this type of product?

@edhelka I’ve seen bags of sulphur (called flowers of sulphur) for a lot cheaper than Rose Sulphur. I’m not sure if there’s any special mojo in the RS or if they’re just charging a premium.

Thanks @Omari, sounds the same, whether it's still effective after 10 years remains to be seen. Will try it cautiously around just one rose to find out!

@Lizzie27 I think as long as it’s stayed dry it should be fine. Good idea to do a small test though, don’t want any nasty surprises!
