The scammers are starting. I have just had a text delivery message from BT on my phone. Automated voice.  Hi Are you all right. I can get shopping at alternate times for you. Just phone....
Please note it did not say  Hi Fidget, this is Joe.

I have seen an invoice to a Pharmacy for some Paracetamol 32's. The price to them has quadrupled, although they still didn't get any on the order as the wholesalers were still out of stock. They are still getting 100's for prescriptions as normal.

I forgot to share that a chain restaurant sent our ITU staff free lunch yesterday. We did discuss: did they wash their hand correctly, staff should use forks not fingers and, most crucially, where ARE they getting all the chicken from! I understand there were free toiletries being delivered from a local hotel too. Oh AND the coffee shop is giving free hot drinks to staff. All amazing stuff (hope the goodwill hasn’t peaked too soon though).

That is a brilliant example PF. The selfless sacrifice of those people during the plague is an example we all could follow. Its thinking about and considering others.

I notice that Sainsbury’s is offering a ‘golden hour’ for NHS staff ALONGSIDE the vulnerable/elderly group. THIS IS NOT WISE. I will contact Sainsbury’s to ask them NOT to do this. It is these two groups who should NOT mix currently. I am not being alarmist, but us NHS workers are probably coated in virus, even with no symptoms. Who decided this??

Well, every man and his dog has been out in the Peak District today. Large groups of walkers, cyclists and joggers - not one person that I could see paying any heed to a two metre distance between them and the next person.

    Lord love a duck.

Pub downstairs is closed Pansy - so last night everyone just went to Bargain Booze, got cans, and sat on the benches outside said pub. F*ckin idiots.

Son reported similar scenes in Woodbridge and Aldeburgh in Suffolk where the Londoners have flocked to their second homes, bringing with them bored and amorous teens who are socialising outside bars and cafes 🙄
