  If you had 100 car mechanics check your car over and 99 of them said it had a really  dangerous fault and 1 said it was perfectly safe, who would you believe?

  I believe all doctors have to have a Hepatitis B vaccination before they are allowed to work as doctors (presumably unless they are medically exempt for some reason).
  
  I fail to see the difference between that vaccine and any other they are required to have. It is just completely illogical to accept the one and not the other - and yes, they should be sacked if they refuse.

  It's also about helping to keep people out of hospital, and taking up resources that are badly needed for those who can't help their illnesses and need ongoing treatment for them and those who need operations. 
  To ignore that is thoughtlessness on an unbelievable scale.

  Just to clarify I certainly don’t give any advice to the public regarding covid or vaccines. I wouldn’t dream of it. Not my place. As it happens nobody has ever asked me my opinion on vaccines why would they? If asked I would not venture to advise anyone. 

  I understand the theory of viral load. As humans I think we all, perhaps unwisely, go by our own experience. I wasn’t very unwell but my fiancé was, both double jabbed. A colleague, unvaccinated lives with her husband, unvaccinated, he was slightly unwell she didn’t get it. My brother, unvaccinated was quite poorly but not hospital level. 

  I was interested in the opinion of the highly qualified doctor and his response to threats to sack staff. It gave me new information about protection offered by getting the virus and recovering. I thought it was worth discussing. Apparently not.
