You can have my share of the cheesecakes @Cheyngel I expect if you can do the work/revision etc at home, and just go in for the exam, that would be the best solution. Good luck anyway
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
My tesco shop is coming today( just have to see what comes and what they were out of) the next spot I could get for a delivery is April 6th! So much for not over ordering, I need to cover for nearly three weeks!
Just spoke to my son and am pretty sure he and his housemate have it. They are in Manchester. Thanks to the person who posted about ibuprofen. I’ve just told him to avoid them.
I started coughing a bit on Sunday evening. Cough isn’t too bad at the moment. No other symptoms yet.
I may have believed some of that long letter until I got to the prevention bit, that is a hoax. Heres another, I’ve had a couple of these removed from Facebook as false information. unfortunately they’re still circulating it seems.
SERIOUS EXCELLENT ADVICE by Japanese doctors treating COVID-19 cases. Everyone should ensure your mouth & throat is moist, never DRY. Take a few sips of water every 15 mins at least. WHY? Even if the virus gets into your mouth … drinking water or other liquids will WASH them down through your oesophagus and into the stomach. Once there in tummy … your stomach ACID will kill all the virus. If you don’t drink enough water more regularly … the virus can enter your windpipes and into the LUNGS. That’s very dangerous.
This has been sent from OH ‘s club. I don’t know if it correct, but I believe it is. Comments are welcome, Valerie
I've seen this a lot on social media, but yet to see anything official - which makes me skeptical.
In relation to temperature and UV rays, looking at Qatar, UAE, Iran and Australia's numbers - it doesn't look accurate.
Then if you compare the spread of Middle Eastern Respiratory Syndrome coronavirus in 2012-2015 (which didn't spread as aggressively) the peak summer months in Saudi Arabia didn't seem to halt it's transmission.
Best thing we can do is follow official advice to hand wash, avoid touching face and obey the social distancing measures once they come into effect. Even then, it's too late to contain and as a frontline NHS worker, I've resigned myself to the fact that me and my family will get it. Being fit, healthy and young, I'm not too worried - especially as it seems to spare children.
More worried on impact it will have on the economy to be honest. A selfish stance I know, but an honest one.
Well done , greenbird, believe nothing until you’ve checked it out. go by NHS or WHO for info, not a friend of a friends cousin who know ‘about things’ I don’t know what these people get out of it, must get a kick somewhere.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
I agree too @Lyn. @Greenbird - There's no doubt that the economy, in all sorts of ways, is going to suffer. I don't think it's selfish at all to think that. In fact, you're being very generous feeling that, rather than feeling sorry for yourself, when you're in that situation. People at the frontline are obviously more at risk, so I hope you and your family are ok. Following official advice, and using some common sense is needed.
Sadly, common sense seems to be in shorter supply than bog roll just now...

Happy birthday, and many more of them 🎂
Luckily I can do the work from home if necessary, just not the exams!
Thankyou Anni!

I always check on the net when I read things like this, don’t take these articles for try until you’ve checked, Snopes is a very good one for checking false info.
