I can’t help feeling that if the government banned mask-wearing the very same people who are objecting to wearing them now would be rioting in the streets for the right to wear a mask. 😷

I agree about masks. Our other irritation here is Boffe the clown still can't be serious. Talking about vaccination centres "popping up like Christmas trees " etc
A reporter was in our town yesterday, interviewed a local oldish man about mask wearing, the man said ‘I’m not going to wear one, they ruined our Christmas last year and they’re not ruining it this year’. Couldn't really see what he meant but we had to laugh.

On the bus about half of the people wearing masks and about half of them wearing them over their noses. So that’s 25% and of course there is a fair bit of pushing them up or half off to answer phones, scratch noses etc.
I am sure these new rules will make a massive difference.... not!
Anecdotally, friends on London public transport yesterday said mask-wearing was at about 75-98% (the friend who reported 98% actually counted) which is heartening (it had gone down to about 20-50% max, even though it was officially still required - but impossible to enforce with the government undermining it at every turn).

had he said ‘. There are plenty of centres’, you’d have thought no more about it.
