I have to admit I have just panicked, I’ve booked my tesco slot for the following week as well. Nice to see the goods that were out of stock, like the cat food I always buy, is now in stock.
I let the Tesco bakery cook my bread. The crusty country loaf is nice. I don’t eat bread and OH will eat anything.

It’s an irregular verb, isn’t it? I am prudent You stockpile He/she panic buys.
We have just placed a large online order with Tesco’s, often buying two of something where, in normal times, one would suffice. Is that selfish? Our intention is to have a freezer full of prepared meals that could see us scarcely need to shop for several weeks. In the category being advised to self isolate I want to make the minimum possible number of trips to the shops. It could easily be the other side of Easter before we need to get in further major supplies so, for at least four weeks, we will be putting no pressure at all on food supply chains.
So, what am I: prudent, a stockpiler or a panic buyer?
Only if you’ve ordered 20 packets of toilet rolls Ben 😀 ive just done a tesco order, I am restricted to one box of eggs and one packet of tomatoes, this all seems to change every hour or so, make sure you check the site the night before to see what’s missing so you have time to order substitutes,
