Thanks @CostumedVole, I am aware that the site is saying that, but at the moment experience seems to be, most people getting the AZ, probably just a glut.
How can you lie there and think of England

  • Ah, ok. Well, who knows? I shall find out on Tuesday. Since I am getting mine in a church hall without special cold storage facilities, no doubt it'll be AZ again.
  • We got ours in a small local pharmacy,  and it was pfizer.  Wouldn't have thought they would have a -80 freezer on site,   my lab experience tells me they are enormous and would take up half his space but who knows.  As you say you will find out when you get there.

In posher hotels they sometimes bring you a mahogany box at breakfast and ask you to select your preferred tea. I’m hoping for something similar when I get my booster jab (despite it being in Kettering).

For Pharmacies, they deliver enough for prebooked  vaccinations and they keep a short while in an ordinary pharmacy fridge.  It was extended from 5 days in fridge to 31 days in fridge last May.
  • I suspect that church halls only have the kind of fridges for keeping a carton of milk in...

Not much different to be fair. They just have to have a max /min thermometer on.  I suspect if it is one of those set up by the pharmacy groups, they'll bring a fridge along with the computers etc.
  • I'm sure they have it all in hand.

We had our third booster on Friday and to be honest, I didn't check as to what we were getting.  We had Pfizer the first two and I noticed,  looking at the certificate afterwards;  Pfizer the third time.  My OH used to work for Medecins Sans Frontières and says whatever vaccination is better than none at all!!!

I don't know how many tetanus jabs I've had. Enough for them to say I should be covered for the rest of my natural.  I'm sure that over the last 50 years they have been various brands.  Doesn't really matter.  I've had two AZ. If the next one is Pfizer, I don't mind.
