I'm so sorry LG - that's very sad news. Will hope for some positive news from floralies this week.

I'm really not the sort to shout 'off with their heads' at politicians shenanigans as a rule - as a wise man once said of a much better species "they will do as they do do and there's no doing anything about it". But I don't understand how the Scottish Chief Medical Officer has kept her job. It's hard to think what she could have done that was more stupid just now. And twice.

Apparently they need her expertise and experience .............. and she needs to learn humility. 😡

She didn't have to leave her department. She could have stayed as a deputy in the interests of public service. I guess she may be moved once the current crisis subsides. She ought to be

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

I very much doubt that Boris will be treated by the NHS I imagine a private hospital is more his cup of tea!

So sorry for your loss LG, my daughters friends hubby is now very seriously ill.I expect a lot of people will be nasty regarding Boris. (I am on another certain website) people were really awful about both Tom Hanks and Prince Charles, "Oh, its alright for them, they have money", as though that will protect you.
