Just a thought. It's just the hubby and I, he is likely to bring it home ( works in a circulating air con ) hes bad gives it to me, who will look after who as I will probably be worse as I have asthma! 🤔🙄
Same here (not asthma but BP) ... but not a lot we can do about that ... OH is really conscientious about washing his hands etc as soon as he comes in from work, and trying to keep a safe distance from customers ... but ...  hey ho ... we'll just have to do our best ... W'rose had some of my favourite wine at 25% off yesterday so I treated myself ... If I've gotta go I'll go slightly sozzled 🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷

Oh, and what's with W'rose only having the rather disappointing 'Basics' sausages left ... is everyone stocking up with Cumberland and Lincolnshire sausages, and if so ... do they know something I don't? 😵

No we are stockpiling our own sausage. 😈 Mind you most places don't get the real thing anyway.😁

As a rule we always change clothes and wash hands when we come in  @Dovefromabove as I suffer from hayfever and we have alot of rape seed fields around here.😡

I see I might have to head down the road 10 miles to the big farm shop for a batch of proper sausages next week, if townies are stockpiling them ...

Yes, OH is also changing his clothes in the spare room straight after he comes in from work, and loading the washing machine himself.

An interesting video on loo roll from the BBC.
He says not to worry as they have a massive surplus in stock so no need to stockpile. It might take them a while to get them on the shelves though... A great reassurance to those stuck at home for a month if we go into an Italy style lockdown. I also notice they get their thousands of tons of wood pulp from South America among others. Nothing gets your bum clean quite like a small slice of rainforest :|

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Italy hasn't closed it's borders and Italians are allowed to travel for work, shopping or medical emergencies, it's Austria which closed it's border with Italy.

GOOD GOD A MAN LOADING A WASHING MACHINE HIMSELF!!! @Dovefromabove even mine just puts it in the laundry basket, and I thought that was good.🤣

*Looks smug* My Husband does all the washing.. he's only shrunk one hand-wash jumper into something fit for a 3 year old.

As to panic buying, I suspect many of you would think our normal shop is a "panic" buy, we buy between 24 and 48 toilet rolls at a time, around 5kg flour, 3 or 4 kg sugar, 2 15kg bags of dog food. 4 things of soap.. we do this all the time all year. Because we only buy things when they are on offer, and since it could easily be a couple of months between good offers one needs to stock up.
On my shopping list for Sunday is 4 frozen chickens, 30kg dog food 5 kg cat food (we have 2 dogs and 1 cat) 5 kg flour... no toilet roll we got that 3 weeks ago, which is how often we go shopping!

Well I did need to "train" my hubby as he had a mother who wouldn't LET him do anything . He does help on his days off, and he has NEVER done so much gardening as he has since moving here. Bless him.🥰
