We've got a decent sized turkey, even though there are only 4 of us, as if we're cooking one anyway we might as well eat it cold on Boxing Day, take some to my uncle, freeze some to make pies later, have some in sandwiches and make an almighty batch of stock. No need to have anyone over just because it's more than we need on the day.

I agree @LG_ , and we certainly won't be going anywhere. We figure that we've got this far by being sensible - so why blow it now?

We don't have the turkey problem as we eat a plant-based diet.

We have swapped our Turkey order for pheasant, never had one at home before, thought we would have something different as we are not catering for the masses as usual.
