And me ... what a brilliant stroke to pull if you really can’t stand a colleague 🤪

@AuntyRach, do you know what the Welsh situation regarding the re-opening of hotels is please - I can't seem to get hold of any info? We were hoping to stay in Snowdonia, maybe in September.

Whatever it is now, it'll be different in September or next week even.

Hotels and campsites opened this weekend, as places with shared toilet facilities were not open previously. I think there is more allowed open from today too - museums, cinemas, beauty salons etc. and pubs and cafes may be allowed to open on 3rd August.

Thanks @chicky and @AuntyRach, I kept checking but it's so confusing with different regs to England and Scotland. Haven't had a word from the hotel either. I'm not really bothered if we don't go as I'm a bit hesitant about staying in a hotel for a week anyway, especially with the news reports of a packed Snowdonia and cars being towed away!

Ask ask for a room that has been empty for a few days.. open the windows and door to clear the air.. give all high-touch surfaces a clean with antibacterial spray or wipes.. and refuse daily maid service.  Wear a mask in the halls and anywhere outside your room, avoid a common breakfast area if they provide it, and avoid an elevator if they have it.  With precautions you should be fairly safe.  Plenty of other amazing places in Snowdonia aside from that particular mountain.  I prefer the hike up to Cader Idris lake far more.  Less busy and more beautiful.  Take out your OS maps and plan a quiet route away from crowds.

Very surprised how few customers at the pharmacy were wearing masks. It doesn’t bother me as it’s easier to understand people when you can see their lips move I find but I would have thought the mostly older customers would have wanted to wear them. People are strange

Anybody here wearing masks for hours at a time?  I would love your suggestions for a style/design that is most comfortable (but has a good seal around the face).  School starts soon and my family and I will be wearing them at all times in the school building (except at lunch.. most likely outside while the weather is good).  So for us that will be 8-10 hours a day.
I've made a bunch of the Jesse Mask but even wearing them around to the mobile phone store yesterday to sort out a bill was uncomfortable.. they sort of pucker in when breathing and rub against my lips.  I expect some discomfort.. but five days a week of 8-10 hours requires something bearable.
