All this panic buying. Dont people realise that it could take months for the country to get through this ( the scientists were speculating June before it is wide spread) so all the extra buying will have been used up by then (as at some point the panic will stop) and we will carry on as usual with our buying habits. Its just a case of if you dont have it use something else, we have become too used to having what we want when we want it , will do alot of people good to get back to basics.

I remember decades ago, there was a shortage of potatoes for some reason. When it was over, I never went back to using so many again as I got a taste for pasta and rice dishes. I wonder if the hoarders will feel the same about factory bread if they ever get around to using the flour.
This morning our local Lidls had plenty of everything in stock except hand sanitizer. None of the shoppers seemed to be overloaded with anything in particular. The church has ruled that wine must not be taken!😕😕

“The church has ruled that wine must not be taken!😕😕 “
That reminds me of an advertisement on a tube station many years ago that said ‘80% of top clergy take the Times’ and underneath someone added ‘the other 20% buy it”.
Italy breaking news...a stay at home quarantine has been ordered for the whole county. Only travel to work or for family emergencies are allowed. Could this be us in a few weeks??
