Thankyou for your enquiry as to my personal welfare ! ;)
Yes , my work colleague and I have been exceptionally busy the last few weeks .
As professional gardeners , the lockdown has had no direct impact on our work ; self-isolation is pretty much the norm for me anyway . Clients pay their bills directly into our account so there is really no need to confront them personally . The only major change is having to use my own car instead of sharing the company van , but hey....that's life!! :)
I never thought  this thread would evolve into anything like it has , but again , thankyou for your enquiries .

Did Boris just say the rule is:
If you are a family of two+ parents and 'n'  young children (who can't care for themselves), then if 1 parent gets the virus you are at totally liberty to drive anywhere you like to be with family who can support you, as long as you can isolate where ever you go? I thought the reason for not driving was three+ fold:
    1) The obvious risk if you stop en route
    2) You may break down
    3) You may have an accident
    4) You may spread the virus at the target location

Yes ... thats exactly what he said @steveTu . Halfway through that broadcast I said, ‘if you’re in a hole Boris, the usual advice is to STOP DIGGING! 🕳

In showing himself to be so in thrall to DC he’s made himself a hostage to fortune.  It would be ironic if Cummings were to be brought down by Twitter ... this isn’t going to go away.

Following his instincts!!! 🤬. The rest of us, acted as civilised human beings do, bearing in need the need to act for the greater good, overcame our instincts, did as we were told and followed the rules!!! 🤬

And what is more ... DC is a few months older than my son ... I married at 18 and had my son at 20 and I will be 69 next birthday ... unless his parents were similarly young when he was born (and given the information on Wiki I doubt it) his parents were over 70 when he drove north to be cared for by them, and therefore were at greater risk. Selfish git!!!

Rumours are that his mum's 71st birthday just happened to coincide with the period in question..

How fortuitous .... NOT ... as my niece would say ... the very niece who ‘celebrated’ her 18th locked down away from all her family
