What is it she does now? Look, how she rubs her hands. it is an accustomed action with her to seem thus washing her hands. I have known her continue in this a quarter of an hour.
I had a hospital appointment yesterday. Roads were quiet, carpark was still jammed full despite no visiting. Majority of the public I saw within the hospital kept to the 2m rule. A few wore facemasks. The exception were the hospital staff. No face masks and lots standing chatting together or walking along the corridors 2 or 3 abreast, chatting. Only staff member wearing a mask was the receptionist and she was behind plexiglass AND you had to stand 2m away. Only sanitizer I saw was at the entrance, none at the entry to various depts. I don't understand.

Interesting idea from sexual health doctors that lockdown could have been the perfect time to drastically reduce many of mankind's diseases in general and not just covid-19.
The UK could get its measles free status back and probably a lot of other diseases could have been tackled too. Another missed opportunity but I think there's too many lazy and self-centred people about to get it to work.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
Went to SM today, we are trying to make our shops last 2 weeks so it was a big shop. Roads quiet, no queue to get in SM seemed quieter than recently overall however by the end my anxiety level was highest it's ever been. Some isles crowded, people with trolleys on side standing in the middle so effectively blocking, people especially with masks coming far too close, diving in while we were checking our list to see what was needed. One chap virtually leaned over my OH until I gave him a real (Paddington bear) HARD STARE then he backed off. This will be the danger as we come out people will "forget" what they are supposed to be doing. Getting increasing annoyed with the govt briefings, they are still spending far too much time patting themselves on the back, with X number of items of PPE delivered, number of tests available etc etc, no answers on why our infection & death rates remain far too high it is a shambles.
Hospitals had the hand sanitizer stolen before lockdown. People either went in and filled their own bottles up or literally took the hospital bottle with them. Perhaps they haven't bothered to replace it.
So Boris, I can have strangers in my house if I wanted to sell it, but I can't have my family visit me 🙄 Perhaps they can pretend to be interested in buying it 🤷🏻♀️

Hi hogweed, the hospital staff will only wear PPE when its clinically necessary. It is clinically necessary for the receptionist as they will be having face to face contact with a lot of different people all day and not all of them will follow the rules or have perfect hygiene so he/she needs that protection.
There's not a lot of point in nurses/HCAs/doctors etc. socially distancing from each other as its completely impossible to do it in the course of their jobs. Although ideally they would be setting a good example when moving through the public parts of the hospital. I know our trust is very big on this.
There is usually hand gel at the entrance to every hospital ward/department though even in 'normal' times. Probably worth flagging that up to PALS.
Well I had an upset with my mum.my dad has dementia.she is chomping at the bit to get out.all her friends are so why shouldn't she?! I worry he will wander off.for one thing most supermarkets its 1 person 1 trolley.and he bangs into people.a lot.😳 I cant sit on them tho.ive done shopping for them but it's not enough.in fact when I said this she said no it's not enough...and off course if they did get it I couldnt go in their house.or the hospital...I might as well be saying rhubarb rhubarb...🙁
