@Dovefromabove ..Yes it's a shame it has to be that way now. I seen once on an episode of Gardeners' World...I believe that's where I seen it...there's a flower that it so invasive from here, that anyone who still grows it has the authorities stop by to see that they're keeping it under control. Of course I don't remember the name, it has a giant yellow flower.
@grnidgirly No worries... that was a very kind offer though...
If you want to obtain roses that are not generally available in the U.S.... then you can order from Palatine Roses in Ontario, Canada... they ship to the U.S. without any difficulty and have a good selection, including roses they got from England.. they send out good roses and are very popular with U.S. rosarians..
@Marlorena ..Thanks for the info, will check them out. I know what comes in here goes thru customs, but I've also heard somethings go missing or get badly damaged. I don't have many Roses yet, but I do hope to have a nice showing at some point.
When I got BritBox, I spent that entire Saturday watching GW, by entire, I mean about 15 hrs. Had been watching on YouTube, watched every episode I could find of Love your garden and Garden Rescue as well. I've learned more about some flowers I'd love to grow.
