I don't know what I am going to eat tonight.
How can you lie there and think of England

The nearest I get to organisation is to put the use by dates on the calendar and, if necessary, bung stuff in the freezer just before it self-destructs . There's plenty of space for it on the calendar these days unfortunately😊

I never know what I fancy until I open the fridge. If I had a list, I'd cheat.

We got fed up of the "what shall we have for dinner?" routine, so now we just have the same dinners every week:  Monday, pasta; Tuesday, pizza; Wednesday, chip shop; Thursday, quiche; Friday, jacket potatoes; Saturday, eat up leftovers; Sunday, bangers and mash.  Lunch is usually bread and things, breakfast is porridge, but we all like it made differently so everyone does their own.

We did our first garden visit of the year.  It's been a struggle finding somewhere that you don't have to book ahead.  We went to Hampton Court Castle in Herefordshire, not to be confused with the other Hampton Court!.  Just £6 to get in.  Some areas are still closed off and the castle is not currently open, but it was a lovely wander on a nice sunny day.

Made my first ever clafoutis today and it was scrumptious.  Eggs, brown sugar, cream, ground almonds, whipped together and poured over fresh apricots, skinned and halved, then baked.  Hot today, cold tomorrow.
