Yeah call her Jasey B, very cute.  It has rained all day here people.  I have a friend (yes, honestly I DO!!) moans about everything, it was too hot, her garden was dying,  she refuses to water because she has a water meter, (Yes, have told her to get water butts!!)now today, she is moaning about the rain.I'm not have got lots of plants to go in, hoping I might get through the (clay) soil tomorrow

We call her Luna @josusa47.  She is a Whippet.  We tried to find a rescue for 7 months, but it was impossible due to the pandemic.  Everybody wants a dog.

And sadly, once the pandemic is finally under control and we are back nearer to normality, the rescue centres will start to fill up again because dogs will become a nuisance.

    I’m afraid you may be right @KT53 😢 https://www.edp24.co.uk/news/norfolk-dog-breeder-concerns-dogs-returned-to-shelters-1-6800344

But got to love a whippet 🥰

Definitely a situation where I wish my prediction was entirely wrong.

A whippet that digs - maybe her grandma flirted with a terrier.

@KT53 dogs and cats have already been abandoned in huge numbers by people who thought a) they carried Covid on their coats or b) could no longer to feed and vet them.

There's a photo on FB form a refuge in western France with all the dogs they've had to euthanase laid out on a road like roadkill.  Hundreds!  Depressing and distressing.

Found a silver 1912 3d bit in the garden. Buried treasure!

Finally dug/cut/sawed/rocked out a stump I've been working on for four days.  So satisfying!  I also got out a smaller one next to it which was a lot easier.

Buried treasure indeed @B3, silver 3d coins were much sought after when I was a kid, still got some somewhere.
I live in hope of digging up Roman coins one day as we live near an old Roman road.
