I got an urgent letter this morning - cucumber seeds from Marshalls. I thought I still had some left from last year but it was an empty packet. Which numpty put an empty packet back in the seed box? Oh, that would be me :*
I couldn't get the variety I wanted (mini munch) and there wasn't much choice in any of the online sites but I will have cucumbers now.

May I ask please if the posters who received Premium Bond cheques recently, received emails from NS&I beforehand? I've just got an email telling me I've also won but am a bit suspicious and think it could be a scam?

Always do get an e-mail @Lizzie27 but it's easy to put your holder number in the box on the site if you want to check.

    Congratulations! A cheery e-mail for once  ;)

I have won something almost every single month, mostly £25, I think there has been 2 months when I got nothing, but a couple I had 2 lots of £25, cheque siting here to go down the bank.I have never had an e mail, and I am afraid I assume EVERYTHING is a scam, dont trust anyone.  Like those phone calls people had saying they owed HMRC money, give us your bank details, or we will arrest you, they dont have powers of arrest!!!

New post glitch seems to have been sorted. A reason to be cheerful might be pushing it a bit, but a good thing for all that😊

  • Had a lovely video call with 2 of my grandchildren earlier today. Sang songs and played peekaboo with my 1 year old granddaughter with frequent interruptions from her 3 year old brother ("Mummy, please can I have grandma and granddad now?"). Apparently yesterday he asked my daughter how many years they were going to have to stay in the house for!

    Red admirals in the garden😀
Was reading about them on Wikipedia. Apparently, they can't see red or orange. This seems strange to me. Maybe I misunderstood😒

You did not misunderstand. They cannot detect light at the red end of the spectrum.
