My first RTBC today is that I'd planned to order some perennial/biennial seeds from Chilterns to grow on for next year but given their backlog I thought I'd have to put it off until next year ... and now a lovely GW forumite has just messaged me with a list of her surplus seeds and guess what's on the list ... the three I particularly wanted  B)

And another one ... robins nest building in a nestbox on the Shady Bank. If there was a nestbox I thought would never be used it’s this one ... and I was going to revamp the whole border and sort out the clem that blew down in the winter ... we’ll, that’s not going to happen until autumn now is it?

Better start saving up for live mealworms ...

We now have Hot Cross Buns, steak and chocolate so we're okay for the weekend! Why has food assumed such importance I wonder?

Someone has moved into my bee hotel!
There's little bits of dry grass and then white flossy stuff blocking the entrance to one of the wider bamboo canes.😀
