At the foot of the Caucasian fir: pearlbush 'The Bride' and Mexican fleabane
Ok mine certainly isn't as beautiful as previous pics but there are advantages to neglecting one of my borders last year...... Self seeded wallflowers, which smell divine and lots of dandelions, for the bees of course........
What is the daisy flower @B3? Your Geum is very early. I’ve left all the geums in my last garden apart from Cosmopolitan, which has some buds on, but has been very disappointing last year.
Osteospermum. It didnt die. It's very leggy though. Another geum was out a couple of months ago. Near a large terracotta pot which might have retained a bit of heat. TT came out properly today. Only a few very light frosts here.
I had one that lasted a good five years. It was planted in the ground over gas and water pipes which might have kept the soil temperature up a bit. A really harsh winter killed it It grew a good six feet along the flower bed and two ft plus high. shoots would emerge all down the tangled stems. I suppose that's how they grow in the wild It was a white one with blue at the back of the petals.

I’ve misplaced the label for this one. 😞
Lovely photo, @Mary370.

Some kind of philadelphus, I think
