Normally I don't like variegated foliages and I have very few in my garden. Some variegations make the plants look as if they were diseased (in my opinion). But in the case of this Salvia greggii 'Caramba', the variegated foliage does set off the saturated red of the flowers.
A bit odd down here this morning - quite warm start of the day, with a light dew. The dew on the roses was really fine and gave them a silvery sheen. I thought at first I had some form of fungus on them....
Really lacking rain down here. The clay is cracked as a cracked thing on crack...even after the little rain we had at the weekend.
