We’ve been fascinated watching the large planes dropping pink dye on our hills today. Much more fires on the go within our area with the extra heat and wind.Â
It’s now been confirmed that the American fire bombing plane that crashed killing all on board near here, did land with a huge fireball on top of the koala sanctuary. 😡. Not good news for them.Â
We've just come back from lunch with Son 2 and his family. The little boys are cute and cuddly but gosh they are noisy! There was a row over who vacuumed the kitchen floor, think the 2 year old won, but then Son came back from work (he was the dentist on call this Sunday) and removed the vacuum cleaner - peace! We had lobster bisque, duck and ratatouille, fruit salad.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
That's going to be a lovely big greenhouse @chicky. @Pat E, that is so sad news about the poor Americans in the plane - and the koalas. We only ever saw one wild one when we were in Oz but I treasure the memory - it looked just like a teddy bear ambling down the road. Do hope you get some respite soon. @Busy-Lizzie, sounds very noisy, we've got that to come when my niece has her twins next month! @Dovefromabove, I'm desperately hoping I haven't got your lurgy, am sniffling away here, despite a nice morning/lunch out to see the snowdrops at Lacock Abbey. Unfortunately it rained hard after lunch so went home early to sit in the warm!

Happy Birthday @Allotment Boy 🎂 and happy AustraliaDay @Pat E 🇦🇺 .  Hope the days ahead bring some respite.
I have lived in smaller house than that @chicky, it is going to be fantastic.
