Take care not to burn yourself Joyce. Good to get that little job out of the way.

LB - it makes you pause when you see a nasty car crash doesn't it? Fingers crossed it's just cars which have been badly damaged.

Sorry Chive, I missed answering before. I'm not at my Bestie's today as she has to take her Mum for a hospital appointment so we are meeting tomorrow instead.
Well, I had a brief splash of sunshine earlier on but it is now back to the usual grey misery - boo! Joyce I hope that the anaesthetic wears off soon. There is nothing worse than half your tea escaping from the numb side of your mouth!

Original message about 60 free native hedging plants came through just before 10am. A second message received just after 1pm to say all plants had been dispatched to good homes. In a village of around 100 houses with, mainly, established gardens and a lot of people out at work during the day - that's a pretty fast clearance rate.

I have always been able to recycle usable items within the village rather than see them go to landfill🙂

I glad they have been claimed and picked up T'Bird. PF, that person in the queue has a lot to answer for! Grrrr. It is pouring down here after the tiniest glimmer of sunshine and blue sky a little earlier.
Do you reckon Chive has got home or has she been trapped in the stationery cupboard?

Hi Pansy . I hope that you are feeling better soon . Coughing is exhausting .Joyce has the numbness worn off yet?

Yes Ruby, the numbness has gone.  Having macaroni cheese for tea as dentist said soft food until tomorrow.

Pansy, I had one night when I sneezed practically non stop then the coughing started.  Hope you have a good supply of loo rolls.

Evening Ante. Joyce I love cardamom too and I love it when I get pilau rice with the pods in. I often get my friends' pods too as they are not keen at all. I'm watching an old Vera which I have seen about 20 hundred times before but I like to hear the accents. Remind me of my Mum and Dad.

I'm ready for bed now. I'll try to watch something on tv, but I doubt that I'll the end of it.
Wish you all a good night and sweet dreams.
