Pansy - the green laser lights are more dangerous to eye sight than the red ones - but do avoid shining either into anybody’s eyes - feline or human.

Any decent stationers will have a laser pen (W H Smith / Rymans etc) for people doing presentations.

Image result for winter has arrived images
Now that it is official and we are in Winter I do not want us all going mental over the extra SECOND of daylight we will have today.
A very good morning to one and all. All those brave people going shopping today - the best of British! (Ante - it means good luck.) I intend doing nothing. I might saunter down the garden to see what's popping up but that will all depend on the weather.

Morning PF. I hope that all goes well for Mr M. Did you say yesterday that you are going to the pet shop today? That may not be quite as busy as the SM. I intend doing my shopping tomorrow morning at silly o'clock.

    Morning.

Was at the SM for 8am & home by 9.15😇. Very busy but not hellish and got everything I needed. Co-op in next village is open until 8pm tomorrow and from 10am on Thursday so I guess we won't starve if I forgot anything...😁

Need to get on with ticking jobs off my list this morning and then I'm chillin'. OH has left for Yorkshire & he'll be bringing his parents back tomorrow. Then it's 3 days of playing the hostess with the leastest and asking 'Can I get anybody anything' every 10 minutes and hoping beyond hope they all say "No".

Have you noticed that if one says "Could I just have a slice of toast?" suddenly everyone thinks it's a good idea? and then they'd all like a cup of tea to wash it down... I'm a lousy hostess - really, truly, honestly...

Anyway, this afternoon I'm sticking up the greenery I cut last week and then I'm watching trash on the tele - all afternoon and all evening😁

Good luck at the hospital Mr M.

Good old NHS staff - they never stop. My poor SIL is a nurse at a GP's surgery. Tomorrow she's working 7.30am to 6.30pm. An hour's journey each way as well. And then she's doing Christmas for all the family and back to work on Friday (same hours).

Morning Chive, Ruby and T'Bird. I certainly have noticed that effect T'Bird. The desire to suddenly want what someone else has expressed a desire for spreads more rapidly than Norovirus.
I have total respect for the NHS T'Bird. They got me sorted. My new next door neighbour (now 7 months pregnant) is a nurse in A&E (accident and emergency Ante) and she works nights. She told me the other day that she was finding it difficult because she is troubled with Braxton Hicks but she goes out every evening without fail.
Chive make sure you have your body armour on and you could borrow M-U's Boudicca knives for your trolley.
I've just finished threading my micro lights in the ivy outside the front door and my hands went into dead spider mode. The wind was blowing a hooley and it was freezing.

    Afternoon all.
It's dark and raining so I'm glad I don't need to go out.
The traffic is building up going into and coming from the town.

Pansy, hope Mr M's hospital visit went well.  My cat loved chasing the laser pen light and it was hilarious to watch him.
T'bird, enjoy your lazy day before before waiting hand and foot on others.
