Runners, hope your OH picks up now that he's at home.
Cakes look lovely and very professionally iced.

Off to bed so night, night all.

Runners - sorry to hear OH has been in hospital. I hope he will be happier and more comfortable now he’s home.

    Those cakes are rather classy!🙂
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
  • I dozed off after my tea so going to have a coffee now.
  • So sorry to hear your OH has been poorly RB,  glad he's now back home from hospital. Hope he feels better soon.

Your cakes look delicious, love the decorations, especially the little birds.
I couldn't sleep either Rebecca, but I just had a cup of tea.....shan't be doing the ironing 😕 Hope you have a good night's sleep.

    Night night everyone

    Good morning to all.
It's Christmas Eve🎉. And such a beautiful morning here, proper weather for holidays. First cup of tea then I can start with decorations.

Runny, sorry to hear of your OH. He will be well soon, I bet. What to say about your cakes, just gorgeous and really festive.

LB, your cake also looks festive and it must be divine taste.

I read about your persimmon discussion yesterday. We call him kaki here. Actually, I planted one tree a month ago. I love to eat persimmon fruit and today we have varieties which don't need to be soft for consummation. LB, they are not like lemons, they tie your mouth more like quinces.

Chive, indeed hooray. I must appear in the school during holidays but no pupils for two weeks.

Runners, your cakes look WONDERFUL! I particularly like the trees and cheeky little robins one - gorgeous. Sorry to hear that your OH has been in hospital and I hope that you now have a lovely Christmas with family visiting you rather than you having to cater for them all.
Joyce, handy brother will happily eat lemons too. I'll enjoy eating the slice - once infused - in a G&T
Ante you will be busy today getting your tree put up. Remember that we want pictures please.

Good morning everyone and a Happy Birthday to MU 🍀.  It’s a cold one this morning.  I stayed up and watched Maggie Smith in The Lady in the Van.  Ante it was interesting to look at your night sky and no doubt you and Chive will enjoy your break from school over the holidays.    I must get breakfast.  Keep warm it’s freezing.
