Thankyou for the support and love everyone. I'm still only really at 80% so I'm going to check in again in a few days, but I'm home!

I've never appreciated the NHS so much.

Chey - There is absolutely nothing like your own bed, your own space, your own toilet.....😁 So glad you're home (bet Luco is too!). Fingers crossed you're on top of this infection and you make a full and speedy recovery🤞🙂 Take care x

Chey it’s good your home and back with Luco.  He will have missed you a great deal.  Chive the run up to the school holidays will be a busy time for you.  Enjoy your time with the children.  I was late to bed in the early hours as I just couldn’t get to sleep unfortunately and late on parade this morning but I’m mastering my new tablet, a Christmas present from Rubee and her oh as my Len*** bit the dust yesterday evening.  This is very different but I like it.

Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
  • Well I was feeling a little Tbird, but I've just dragged myself round the village posting the local Xmas cards. Wish I'd put stamps on them now, I'm knackered 😥😥 Still got another 6 to do, but it was going the other way and it was just that bit too far away. Absolutely ridiculous I couldn't post some cards.

Glad you're home Chey, take it easy.  Will you be seeing your brother over Christmas?.

    Happy quizzing LB🙂

I've been doing unmentionables most of the day but it's soooo boring I kept stopping for a little phone call, a little noodle on t'internet, a little cup of tea, a little spot of lunch etc etc. So it's taken ALL DAY. I want to get it all done before Friday so I must crack on tomorrow and Thurs. Then I can have a little relax before the guests arrive on Tuesday. Nothing worse than a stressed, busy host.

Just stopped again to take cooked, chopped turkey neck over for the neighbour's cats to share. Mine have always loved it. Turkey giblet stock smells wonderful. Makes the best gravy of the year🙂

Time to put your feet up with a G&T T'bird.

Hope the quiz goes well LB.

Have been at friend's this afternoon. Her OH was complaining that she had hacked too much off a shrub where he usually puts lights.  Problem solved by moving a small obelisk and putting the lights on it.
