Afties all. Debs, I am so very sorry to hear the news of your Mum's passing. I know that this has been a tremendously difficult year for you and yours but your Mum is now at rest.
Been to visit rellies as usual. Got big hugs off my favourite great nephew. Now I can just have a little sit before I ice my cake. The Marzipan is nicely firm.
PF, that looks wonderful - bubbilicious even!

  • Debs, I'm so very sorry to hear the sad news about your mum. Sending my condolences and very best wishes to you and your family. Take care, love and hugs xx

    Beautiful photo Ante.
    Oops manners, morning everyone.
Hope you're feeling much better Pansy.
I've done a few unmentionable chores this morning, now having some soup. Then I must get on with wrapping all these pressies 🙄

What a lovely little cake Pansy. Guess the fish in a Father Christmas hat is a nod to the tin it was cooked in. Hope it was well washed out...😁

    Evening Chive and Pansy.

Thanks Chive, i'm very happy with my tree this year.

Pansy, Christmas wheat is doing nicely. You shall see at Christmas Eve. Get well quickly.

Ante, do your cats 'graze' on the Christmas wheat or is it kept well out of their way?
I can't half tell it's the shortest day today - it is really dark here already.

LB, Wheat is very well protected, not only from cats, my dog is also very curious and full of mischief.

Afternoon all.  It's been a busy day with a visit to uncle then to two friends  The roads are very busy and there's been sleety rain.  Glad to be home and put my feet up for the evening.  No cooking tonight.....having a salad.  I was very good and took some Christmas cake to my uncle.  I will scoff the rest fairly quickly.

Interesting cake Pansy.  Hope it doesn't have a fishy taste or smell.  Are the cats on amicable terms yet?

I hope those of you who are doing the Christmas day catering manage to take some time to themselves tomorrow.

Debs I’m so sorry to hear the new of your mums passing and she will be at rest now and I hope you can find comfort in that and share Christmas with your family.  Ante Christmas is nearly upon us and reflected in the lighting of your fourth candle.  🌹a rose for you Debs.
