Morning Debs, you snuckered in there. I am planning to plan I think. Once daylight has broken I'll see what the weather is like. Don't need to do any supermarket shopping (hoorah!) but I'll plan my assault song for my next venture. I'm leaning towards the Prodigy's 'Firestarter'. So hideous it will probably scare the whole supermarket!

Yes, PF they are truly horrendous and probably have a following of braindeads. Beware of any squatters in the compost heap PF and go there armed with LC. I always kick the side of my compost bin in case there are any ratties or mousies in it.

Morning Ruby. Don't worry, the picture is gorgeous. I've just seen a skein of geese flying over. Probably heading either to or from Martin Mere.

Morning Chive. I have to admit that I missed it too for similar reasons but seeing it yesterday morning when it was just moving towards full moon was spectacular. If its clear tonight there should still be a lovely view. I did get a better sleep last night, thanks.
Jutro Ante if you are around. Enjoy your weekend along with Chive - your first week finished.

How lovely to see the geese ,fly over LB . We very occasionally get a single heron fly over the house. We have Golden Acre Park a mile down the road from us . Herons nest near the lake there.

Pansy, thinking about the vole  up the trouser incident. Many years ago OH and I were hiking on the hills above Howarth .We sat down at the top of what looked like a derelict quarry. Now full of wild grasses shrubs and heather . We opened our bag of sandwiches , and poured tea from our thermos into the cups . Just as we were about  to start  our lunch OH jumped up and started to do his version of a tribal dance and nearly fell into the quarry. A lizard had run up his trouser leg .Try as he did he couldn’t shake it down .Next the trousers came off ,nothing in the legs nothing in the seat  of  the trousers . Now nestled quietly in his groin was the most beautiful green Lizard .OH not used to little critters had gone an interesting shade of green . I hasten to add little Lizard was released gently into the scrub , by me .

Oh Ruby, another classic tale. I bet you never let your OH forget that one! Its a good job that there weren't any other walkers out and about that particular day.

Fortunately there wasn’t a soul around LB.
