Lily sorry to read that you have a bad back . I hope that it clears up soon .
Hazel supermarket shopping is something I do very reluctantly. Can’t stand being pushed and shoved by people who don’t look where they are going .Pansy  ,when I am walking in the street people sometimes walk straight at me . I think it’s a form of intimidation . I stick to my path and they get a shock when they find that they have to suddenly jump out of my way . We have a high school not far from the house and some of the young teenagers try to push their luck .I refuse to be intimidated .

Especially if the lump is a brick Ruby. Had a good game of Canasta - partner and I lost but it was a very close thing and the plus point was that the game finished early so I was able to get home whilst it was still light and the traffic was reasonably quiet. I'm hoping for a good night's sleep tonight after last night's insomnia.
SGL, a hot water bottle can be quite comforting for an aching back.

  • Yes I've tried a hot water bottle LB and a cloth gadget thingy that goes in the microwave. Its starting to go down my left leg now....I'm really hoping it's not sciatica......had that years ago and it lasted for weeks 😫 I was crawling around on my hands and knees for awhile.
If it eases a bit PF, might try a gentle exercise

I notice Monty's back on TV tonight with his American visit stories. Might be nice to see the prairie planting. That is something I would love to have in my garden.

Lily I hope you get some relief from your back pain soon.  It’s been a cooler day today although sunny.  I’ve been to the sm with dad to pick up some essentials after c.    Alfie has been lounging for most of the day, apart from a group playtime this morning.  I had a small glass of wine and it seemed to really go to my head but it has since cleared.  Ante and Chive you have the weekend ahead of you now.   Joyce I’m glad your boiler is now sorted.  Mine, touch wood, has been working well since the problems were resolved in november.  It’s much cosier going home and putting the heating on.  It seems a while ago now.

Rebecca, that is good news indeed after all of the messing about that you had to put up with.

Hi all. Very busy hectic few days at work. Trying to sort out clothes, flowers etc for funeral so put ring shopping on hold. Haven’t had time to read back but hope you are all well and looking forward to the weekend
