What happens if you get shoulder charged and the legs are not presented in a convenient way for you to 'splay' them? I've often wondered about that.

...aren't the CIF refills 'diluted' (dilutable) so 100ml makes 5 bucket loads of usable spray?

The only organic purchase I sometimes make is eggs.  There is quite a differnce in taste when having scrambled eeggs.

I had a phone call this afternoon from a classmate I last saw or spoke to nearly sixty years ago.  She is organising a class reunion in Sicily for the autumn.  No thank you.   There are four of us who keep in regular contact, one of those I see regularly.

I know that feeling Joyce but in my case its cousins who live up in the northeast. One of them is having an 80th birthday party in March and out of the blue I get an invite. I wouldn't know most of them if I passed them in the street. Some I haven't seen for over 60 years. They may be blood but they are strangers and I have declined the invite.

£40 for a bottle of wine?! I'd want the brewery, the drays and at least a pub for £40.... Shows I don't go out much.

That's when you 'do a Harrison' and pull out a Magnum - and stand there licking it trying to look cool and ignore the situation.
Actually, we were always taught that the best form of self defence was getting away from the situation in the first place.

@steveTu the jujitsu sounds painful.  Not something you would willingly want to experience.  Take care.  Chive I’ve just been pottering today.  I hope you have a good evening.      There’s a new drama on tonight but think I’m watching the beeb but video it.

I was taught that a small comb, teeth first, shoved hard against the septum was an extremely effective defence strategy. Luckily I have never had to do that.

The Red Arrows are on Channel 5 Rebecca. I used to live at RAF Scampton.

LB I went and saw the Red Arrows at Church Fenton many years ago and had a walk around and look at the planes.  It must have been interesting growing up with dad in the RAF.
