Having some toast and a cuppa.......could do with something much stronger.

Oh no not another term.  Morning all.  I woke up early it must have been the feeling of foreboding.  Ante I like your wheat tradition.  The cookies sound lovely.  It's still dark and I've had breakfast and just having a cup of tea to help me wake up.  Chive are you up early today.  LB I'm glad you were safely home.

Oh nectar of the Gods, there is nothing that quite hits the spot like the first cup of tea in the morning.

Morning Ruby. That is such a cute picture. You can see the evil intent in Casper's eyes! I do hope that you rescued them in time.

Moggit🙂 Another lovely set of pictures LB.

Didn't get on here yesterday as I was wrestling (literally) with curtain making. Have now realised that I haven't made 'big' curtains before at this house and I don't have a large enough floor area anywhere to lay out the material for the door curtain (double width / full length / lined) so it's fully flat.

I suspect the lining is twisted 🤬

Would have been quicker to make 2 single curtains and sew them together. I may yet unpick yesterday efforts and do just that.

If no progress is made today they'll have to go back in the bag until after Christmas. Too many other things to get on with as we now have the family coming to stay for 3 days.

Sorry some of you are upset about the politics. I stayed up until 2am by which time it was fairly obvious which way things were going. Feeling rather kn**kered this morning.
