Morning T'Bird. I did use to make curtains (not that I ever use them) but I ended up buying them eventually as luckily my windows were standard sizes. I used to buy two lots of 90x90
The French windows that make up the whole of my living room front wall took one set and I could use one half of the remaining set to make a front door curtain; the other half to make the curtain for the window at the side of the front door and a shorter pair of curtains for the landing at the top of the stairs. I thought those were bargain buys. Still using them today - by that I mean they are still hanging. I only take them down once a year to wash them. An exceptional; 'take down' was when a little pressie from one of the cats ran up between the curtain and the lining and refused to come out. I rescued it.

Morning all.  Didn't get to sleep til after 4am when my constituency result came in.

Cute bootees Ruby. Hope you got them put away before the cat got them.

LB, surprisingly, I haven't eaten a mince pie yet.

Good that you enjoyed your Christmas dinner Chive ,sounds as though you had fun .I am just having a cuppa . Casper is happy when he has gone off with something he shouldn’t . This time he didn’t have time,  I grabbed the slippers just  before he did .

Afties all. I am still shaking from a horrendous drive home from Canasta. I have never seen anything like the rain/hail/sleet we had today. I had to drive through 3 serious floods - holding my breath - to get home. My drive is under water in the tire tracks, not deep like the floods but enough that look like giant puddles. I'm glad I'm inside now.
Chive - great fun at Christmas dinner time. Chey has seen the dermatologist today and she has confirmed that he has had a severe viral infection. He will be reassessed on Monday and possibly discharged.
Runners I really like that cushion. Lovely neutral shades that will suit anywhere.

    Evening to all.
I'm finished with baking for today and now  I can rest. It's pizza and tv night for me. Outside is warm but it's raining whole day.

Rubee, Casper is gorgeous cat. He has beautiful eyes.

LB, sorry to hear about your driving home from Canasta. I'm glad that you safely arrived home.

Chive, I'll have busy weekend. If you can remember that I mentioned strike a month ago. Well, tomorrow is first of four working Saturday.

Christmas wheat is in the pots and I thinking about which cakes to make next week.
I promised to myself not to meddle in politics, but I felt a bit down when I saw results this morning.
