Some years ago Rebecca bought me some Penhaligon Perfume, I had never heard of it . I really loved it .There were several small bottles in a presentation tin. When I had used them all i went on the web to see which shops supplied them . I couldn’t believe the prices . I will have to wait and hope someone is feeling generous .I am not asking Rebecca to buy me some I hasten to add .

Great pictures there Hazel. The two birds in your top picture are red crested pochards. I love the black swan in the picture - it reminds me of my Australian trip. My Aussie niece is terrified of them having had an unfortunate experience with one when she was tiny. Which Hoheria did you get as some of them grow really big, Stardust that SGL mentioned can grow to almost 30 feet and spread to almost 8 feet. Forget that question as you've already answered it   You do know that it is advised you do not cut these shrubs back Hazel? They belong to Pruning group 1 which requires little if any pruning.
I love the serenity of your pond SGL. A walk to that must be so tranquil.
I cannot go through any day without wearing perfume. My favourite is Alien. I went through a phase of wearing Poison but it gave my boyfriend a headache so that got used up quickly - I was not about to chuck it the price I paid for it.

    Good evening my friends.
I'm having third cup of hot chamomile tea. I managed to do only half of the job, so tomorrow is, hopefully, conclusion. It was cold, only 4℃, with wind.

Now is Poirot time and bedtime.

    SGL and Hazel, beautiful photos.

    Thank you Ante.
LB, it's just 6 houses away and over that little bridge.  A beautiful place to sit......and think......or just sit 😉

Hi LB. Yes it's a real big change in temperature.

I must give you a small warning. In about seven months Croatia will invade UK. I'm talkin about Euro cup next year.😁

    This is the schedule:
    First round: England-Craotia, Wembley
    Second round: Czechia-Croatia, Glasgow
Third round: Croatia-whoever wins in playoff, Glasgow again

Are you coming over to watch Ante or will you just be cheering from home?
