I think Rebecca had some Bailey's with her sandwich.

Glad you enjoyed your carol singing PF.

I like your to-do list Ante.  Nothing too taxing.

Ante - that cartoon is absolutely brilliant!
I'll read all those happy tales tomorrow PF as my attention span has just reach max out. Whatever Rebecca had in her sandwich, I want some.

Morning Chive. There will be some lovely smells coming from your kitchen today then. My cakes are 'maturing'. The one for my brother will get delivered to him next weekend - he is going away on a 'turkey and tinsel' week to Scarborough today so I hope that the roads are not too slippery for him.

Very frosty out there this morning, had to give the wheelie bin lid a thud to open it.
Off to look after poppet2 and then pick up Poppet1 from school while DIL goes Xmas shopping.
Have a good day everyone  Take care

Morning all later Rezzerrisers. I've had a very productive day so far (cold much improved thanks to all who asked). I had to go into the village to the Post Office to get my international cards and other stuff posted.  I usually walk into the village but the weather being the way it is I decided to bus it. I was before the 09:30 start but kind bus driver, who was running a wee bit early let me on without paying. I did all I needed to do and went to wait for the return bus. There was a young lady with a toddler in a buggy and a gentleman already waiting. I went to sit down but shot up again as the metal seat was freezing cold. Having laughed with the other two people the gentleman said 'Why do you think we are standing up?' Just then the bus arrived and it was the one that goes up my lane so it saved me a longish walk once I got off. Result!
By the way, I'm having a heatwave here it was 0°C here when I left home and it has now reached the dizzying heights of..........wait for it..........2°C! Woo hoo.

SGL - take extra care if it is still frosty where you are when you go to pick up Poppet 1.
Hazel - good luck with your hole digging.
